OK, so an Olympic distance triathlon might be a 2-3 hour event and a Sprint triathlon is even shorter – but you still need to train smart.

Our training programmes have been specifically designed to help you achieve your goal while achieving a balanced lifestyle. After all, triathlon is supposed to be your hobby not your job.


Every Programme Has A Comprehensive Schedule
Olympic Distance – 16 Weeks
Sprint Distance – 12 Weeks
We’ve Done Everything For You But The Training!

Olympic Distance – choose from:

  • Up to 6 hours per week (for a first attempt at this distance – this will get you to the finish line), OR
  • 7 hours building to 9 hours per week (for the more experienced triathlete who wants to have a crack at making real improvements)

Sprint Distance – choose from:

  • Less than 5 hours per week (for the person who just wants to complete the event without feeling totally embarrassed), OR
  • 5 hours building to 6 hours per week (for the person who has completed a sprint or super sprint and wants to see how much faster they can get with some structured training)

  • There are between 100 – 200 sessions in each programme and for each workout you’ll get specific detail outlining sets and reps, intensity and duration.
  • You can expect to train 6 days per week and there will be times when you will need to train twice per day as you build towards your event.
  • The schedules are based on a 2 week build + 1 week recovery cycle. I have discovered that for age group triathletes with a heavy schedule that this is the best way to make effective progress and still have adequate recovery.

Each week I’ll also be sending you an exclusive triathlon e-mail with reminders of activities that you need to complete (in addition to your training), cutting edge training tips or valuable check lists such as the pre race checklist specially designed to make sure you don’t forget any kit on race morning.
