Triathlon Coaches narrowly miss out on High Performance coaching award

In General Triathlon, Jack Maitland, TTC Coaches of TTC (December 14, 2009 9:13 am)

TheTriathlonCoach.com coach Jack Maitland (and also Director of Triathlon at Leeds Metropolitan University) and Malcolm Brown recently finished runners up in the High-Performance Coach of the Year category of the 2009 UK Coaching Awards.
Maitland and Brown have been heavily involved in the success of Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee in 2009. They have also been instrumental in the Leeds Metropolitan University triathlon squad which nurtured the talents of 2009 UK Ironman Champion Phil Graves and his younger sister Vicky Graves, Junior Duathlon European Champion. The award went to Mark Lane, coach to the all conquering England Women’s’ Cricket team

Jack has also been short listed in the 220 magazine Triathlon Coach of the year award for 2010, which was won by TheTriathlonCoach.com partner Simon Ward in 2009.
