Total Body conditioning with kettlebells

Today, I’m combining my passion for strength & conditioning with your need to get this stuff done quickly so that you can get on with your swimming, cycling & running.
If you put your mind to it, creating exercises that work the whole body in one hit can be a lot of fun. Kettlebell training exercises can easily be adapted and todays is no exception.
I’ve taken 2 maybe 3 kettlebell exercises a\nd combined them into one movement.
I reckon that if you performed just 4 sets of this exercise and took 60s rest between each you’d be done in less than 10 minutes. I’m sure that even those of you with massive time restrictions can find at least 2 x 10 minute slots per week to work on this part of your physiology. It’s a no brainer. The return on your time investment will be massive. There are NO EXCUSES.

Let me know your thoughts when you have tried it out. Please post your comments to the blog below

Hi Simon, really like your kettlebell demos. I have a few KBs and also believe that they are a great all round exercise that translates well into triathlon training. Just wanted to ask what weight you are using and what you would recommend for maximum effect?

Hi Andrew, Glad you are liking the kettlebell stuff. I currently only have an 11k kettlebell but have 2 x 16k and 2 x 24k on order.
Try to stick to full body conditioning routines such as swings, snatches, cleans, squat to press, Turkish get ups and then combos of these exercises.
Work on 30-60s sets and then 60-90s recoveries. Don’t go to failure and maintain great technique all of the time
