Today was hectic. The expo traditionally starts after the athlete parade and that means we have to spend the early part of the day making sure that the booth is all fixed up and ready to go. Setting up the CompuTrainer is the easy part. Making sure the machinery all hooks up with the Computer and the TV takes a little longer. Its not difficult just that sometimes computers don’t want to work in the way you want them too.
By lunchtime we had it all under control and I was able to pop out and catch up with some more British athletes.

Well there’s no secret. He trains hard, listens to his body and doesn’t get injured. So once again consistency is the key. Oh and did I say that he uses a CompuTrainer?

GB BoysDion had taken charge of the Union Jack and was proudly marching at the front of the other athletes. Is he the standard bearer for the race on Saturday?
Actually the best news of the day was that Dion has handed in his notice at work and as from Jan 1 he will be a professional triathlete. Obviously you can keep up with his progress on this blog. Dion’s friend Chrissie is keeping a low profile but I haven’t spoken with anyone yet who doesn’t have her at the top of their list for Saturday. In fact the main talking point is how many guys can stay ahead of her!
